• Stihl FS 240 C-E is a highly durable, robust and ergonomically enhanced 1.7 kW petrol brushcutter. ErgoStart simplified starting procedure for increased comfort. Powered by a low-emission, fuel-efficient STIHL 2-MIX engine. Ideal for agricultural and horticultural mowing work.

• To reduce the engine emissions the 2-stroke engine with stratified charge. Has a fuel-free layer of air which is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.
• For easy of starting Simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer, pull the starter cord and away you go! The running machine then switches off after a brief press of the stop button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically. Thus the ignition is always ready for starting.
• The STIHL FS240C-E has a effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened by rubber buffers. This significantly reduces vibrations at the handles allowing for more comfortable and safer operation.
• STIHL ErgoStart (E)
• A genuine advance in easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart (E) cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.

All orders are delivered using our vans or our special courier service. Deliveries are normally made on mondays to fridays unless special arrangements has been agreed. Your order will be dispatched within 1 - 3 working days of receipt (or sooner) using the service you have indicated.

Please note that orders placed after 3:30pm on a working day, may be processed from the next working day. For example, if an order is placed by 4pm on a Friday and 1 - 3 working day delivery option was selected, the order will be processed from Monday and estimated delivery day of either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Saturday Delivery

• Saturday delivery is available on all stock items ordered before 3:00pm Friday irrespective of order value unless stated otherwise - £20.00 Carriage.

Returns

• If, within 14 days, you wish to return an item for any reason the item must not have been used/opened and in resalable and working order, if this criteria is met the customer will be fully responsible for shipping the item/items back to us, this is to protect us from any form of collection fee we might experience and upon receipt of goods a refund will be issued should the item be in suitable condition.

Back Orders

• If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the expected delivery date and you will have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. A refund would be made in this instance.

Tax Charges

• For all orders placed for delivery within the UK or European Union, 20% VAT will be added. Orders placed for export outside of the EU can be supplied VAT free. Please contact us for details.
