Leica 813272 Utili-finder Plus System

• Welcome to the Utili-Finder system.
• The Utili-Finder system easily locates electricity cables buried around your house or site up to a 3m depth range. Knowing the location of buried cables is essential to protect personnel and equipment during any excavation project. Damages cause unnecessary costs, creating project delays and may cause personal injury.
• This unique system is reliable & durable, easy to operate, very simple to use, just plug in the Utili-Gen inside your building and trace the buried electricity cables outside with the Utili-Finder, marking their path as you go. Other conductive services including metal gas & water pipes and telecom cables may also be located if safety bonded to the electrical earthing system.
• The Utili-Finder System consists of 2 parts, the Utili-Gen is plugged into a normal plug socket inside a building and will generate a taceable signal on the electricity cables outside which are feeding into the building. A green light confirms that power cables can be traced, a blue light indicates that some other services can be traced.
• In the correct conditions the signal will also connect a signal onto other utilities such as telecom cables and water pipes; the Utili-Finder will trace the signal generated and by walking in a zig-zag pattern across a site the user will be able to mark the path of the buried cable or pipe.
• The Utili-finder should be held ata 90° angle and not swung. Sweep the floor in a zig zag pattern ensuring the whole are is covered. When the visual and audible displays are at their highest, then you are directly over a buried service and should mark the ground, joining the marks indicates the path of the service.
• When the unit is turned off, press the built-in fuction test button 'F' for 2 seconds and the ultili-finder will automatically carry out a functional test.
• Supplied with a light and portable kit carry bag. Accepts 6 x AA batteries.

All orders are delivered using our vans or our special courier service. Deliveries are normally made on mondays to fridays unless special arrangements has been agreed. Your order will be dispatched within 1 - 3 working days of receipt (or sooner) using the service you have indicated.

Please note that orders placed after 3:30pm on a working day, may be processed from the next working day. For example, if an order is placed by 4pm on a Friday and 1 - 3 working day delivery option was selected, the order will be processed from Monday and estimated delivery day of either Tuesday or Wednesday.

• For UK offshore, Highlands, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man there will be an additional carriage cost regardless of order value.

Next Working Day Delivery

• Next day delivery is available on all stock items ordered before 3:00pm (Monday – Thursday) irrespective of order value unless stated otherwise - £8.95 Carriage.
• Next Working Day Service is not available to UK offshore and Highlands.
• Next Working Day Service is not available on heavy items.

Saturday Delivery

• Saturday delivery is available on all stock items ordered before 3:00pm Friday irrespective of order value unless stated otherwise - £20.00 Carriage.

Heavy Item Delivery

• Some products have been classified as a heavy item and will incur extra shipping charge. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery

Returns

• If, within 14 days, you wish to return an item for any reason the item must not have been used/opened and in resalable and working order, if this criteria is met the customer will be fully responsible for shipping the item/items back to us, this is to protect us from any form of collection fee we might experience and upon receipt of goods a refund will be issued should the item be in suitable condition.

Back Orders

• If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the expected delivery date and you will have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. A refund would be made in this instance.

Tax Charges

• For all orders placed for delivery within the UK or European Union, 20% VAT will be added. Orders placed for export outside of the EU can be supplied VAT free. Please contact us for details.
